I don't think I ever quite recovered from the loss of LiveJournal.
Seeing my LJ posts imported here from 2011 was actually kind of terrifying. It was like 2011 me was just sitting here in a state of limbo, waiting for my return.
Well, 2011 me, you got me. Here I am, gradually persuaded by other people's dedication to DW and sense of community.
Man, I think my Thing with some platforms is it feels very "I'm on the playground and too shy to ask if i can play with the other kids, so I'm just gonna draw in the dirt with this stick"
