jabber_mooseI know i've always joked about myself as a...contradiction of sorts.
Jewish, with a German last name.
Nationalities are a split down the middle between Polish and Austrian.
I don't believe in..life after death, but i'm addicted to Ghost Hunters.
And i have been known to sit through hours of John Edward: Cross Country if it's on.
However, i may have hit an all time 'low'.
Last night i logged onto LiveParanormal because Bruce Tango (Father of Dave Tango from Ghost Hunters) was going to be a guest.
Ended up talking to alot of nice people, who surprisingly weren't batshit crazy/religious zealots/ or OH EM GEE DID U SEE THAT ORB MATE.
A man named Scotty Roberts (A man more down to earth than his website...bless PR) was doing Tarot readings over webcam. I don't really give a flying feck/believe in Tarot, but i watched, listened anyway.
As i was heading for bed, the room mod announced that Scotty decided to do one more reading. Yours truly.
I wrote what he told me in short hand, so...sorry.
Current Situation
Six of Swords- Card of transition; going into a new direction. You can’t stay where you are, the situation is intolerable. Grown past it. For emotional sanity, need to leave.
My Thoughts in a nutshell: I was talking to Mom on Saturday morning about my job. On average, what i do isn't a huuge undertaking, but it's sucking alot out of me. We spoke about it, with me voicing my thoughts about how i was sticking with it because it paid, the location is a 5 minute car ride, and a 15 minute bike ride, and i wanted to help contribute to the family financially.
I'm not belittling the job, at all. Again, it pays money, and gives me something to do. But the hours, since i need to bike everyday, are just...nghh.
Recent Past
Lovers- the "toolkit" of relationships. Time to go back to basics. You've stayed in a relationship/job because of convenience, despite what might be healthy or good for you. you're in a situation that you don’t need to be.
My thoughts in a nutshell: See above. I've stuck with this job because the economy won't make nice. It pays decent, it's local to where i live. It's convenient.
Near Future
7 Coins- New opportunities. Time to move on.
