THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A HEAVY SNOW WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 12 PM EST MONDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN THIS EVENING.. CHANGING OVER TO ALL SNOW BY MIDNIGHT. THE SNOW MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF AROUND NOONTIME WITH A TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 8 INCHES.
A HEAVY SNOW WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT...FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY

Parents are down by the pool, i'm getting ready to join them before we head to an outdoor concert in Scotsdale.
Beautiful out today...yet again.'
I've been meaning to update since the move...the who what where when....yadda yadda....but i couldn't get the words on screen. What else is new?
In a nutshell, i do miss my friends, but i have to admit...i think i should have lived in Arizona much longer.
I feel really..happy, healthy..
I take multiple walks outside with the pups everyday, therefore meeting plenty of new people. Mom calls me the Mayor of Barrington Regents, and that i'm going to take her job as the social one.
The supermarket is next door, and the college a block away. I went to orientation and met two new friends.
I've been productive and independent, taking care of all my school needs on my own, scheduling appointments and attending them.
Our friends out here, Mike and Meredith, are godsends.
Mike is a culinary whiz (from what we're used to, at least), and dinner last night was superb. I'm trying new things, food wise.
The weather is...just...unbelievable.
This doesn't follow the order of events, but i'm going to see Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood perform next week (squee)!
And we haven't even moved into our apartment yet...we're still in a corporate until the furniture gets here. But our apartment is being worked on tirelessly, and it looks amazing. I can't wait.
My first class at Phoenix starts tomorrow *gulp*! History of Egyptian Art.
I really am amused about knowing so many people in the complex here. As i said earlier, It's mainly from walking the dogs, so i meet dogs and their owners. How do i know who's who, mom asks? I pair owner and pet.
It works, honestly.
Can't find my camera at the mo...but i'll be updating with pictures.
