2-4-6-8...does my DVR discriminate?

My DVR has recently dug in its cables and refused to record any episodes of House. All other shows it records, but not House.
Well, thats rot, for one.
Then i noticed something else.
It also refuses to record Blackadder when i set it to do so.
Sounds crazy, but i believe my DVR discriminates against Brits.
Which doesn't make sense, as it cheerily records Bones when Stephen Fry is on, and American Idol with Simon.
In anycase, DVR and I are going to have a good talking to.
